Sara Schultheis
Sara Schultheis is one of our dedicated dental hygienists at Pitt on Penn. With her extensive knowledge and commitment to patient care, Sara plays a vital role in educating and equipping our patients with the tools they need to prevent oral diseases and promote excellent oral home health.
Since joining our team in June of 2023, Sara has brought a wealth of experience and a genuine enthusiasm for her work, making her an invaluable asset to our practice.
Hailing from Edmond, Oklahoma, she proudly represents her hometown and its Antlers spirit. Sara's educational background is diverse, as she initially studied nutrition for three years at Oklahoma State University before transferring to the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. There, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, graduating in May of 2023. Her outstanding performance during her studies led her to be recognized as the Outstanding Senior for the Class of 2023, representing the College of Dentistry with honor.
Before joining Dr. Pitt's dental office, Sara gained valuable experience working in pediatrics, allowing her to effectively engage and treat young patients. Additionally, her background in nutrition provides her with a deep understanding of the connection between oral and systemic health, further enhancing her ability to provide comprehensive care.
Sara is dedicated to building strong relationships with her patients through open and honest conversations. She believes in the power of continuous learning and welcomes any questions that may arise, considering them as opportunities for both herself and her patients to grow and expand their knowledge together.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Sara enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones. She has a penchant for baking, often indulging her sweet tooth in the kitchen, and loves playing with her adorable puppy. Her vibrant personality and genuine care for her patients make her a valued member of our dental team.
